Gradstack: Building Futures

Event RecapEducationSocial Impact

A smooth event recap highlighting Gradstack's role in supporting employability education and student career development.

01Approach

Creative direction

For Gradstack, I filmed a recap video for an employability bootcamp they sponsored, designed to highlight their role in supporting education and career development in Australia.

The goal was to capture the event not just as a workshop, but as a meaningful initiative helping students better understand the challenges of entering the workforce.

02Process

Behind the scenes

Hosted at the UNSW AGSM CBD campus, the shoot was built around smooth gimbal coverage, location details, group activities, and natural conversations between students and facilitators. I captured the space in a way that gave the film a clear sense of place, while also focusing on the people and interactions that made the event feel active and purposeful.

I also filmed student interviews, asking about their biggest challenges in job seeking and employability. These responses helped give the recap more substance, grounding the video in the real concerns and experiences of the students attending.

03Impact

Result & response

The final film gave Gradstack a polished event recap that clearly communicated their involvement in education-focused initiatives. By combining smooth visual coverage with student voices, the video helped position Gradstack as a brand actively contributing to employability outcomes and supporting young people as they prepare for their careers.

Feedback from the project was very positive, and the video achieved its goal of presenting the event as both professional and socially meaningful.
