A fast-turnaround fashion launch film for the V2 tracksuit, blending British streetwear with Sydney movement.
01Approach
Creative direction
For Blancs, I created a short launch film for the release of their V2 tracksuit, built around the campaign idea: same soul, higher standard. The goal was to make the piece feel more like a cultural fashion moment than a simple product video, capturing the tracksuit as something made for movement, confidence, and everyday identity.
Drawing from the brand's young British influence, I paired the visuals with "Spinnin" by Nemzzz to give the film a sharper sense of rhythm and attitude. Against Sydney's harbour backdrop, the piece translated that energy into a local setting, blending British streetwear influence with a distinctly Sydney atmosphere.
02Process
Behind the scenes
The film was produced on an extremely tight turnaround, with the final video delivered just one day after the shoot. I focused on creating a fast-moving visual language built around detail, motion, and texture: close-ups of the fabric, walking sequences, movement-led frames, and gimbal work that gave the piece a smooth, elevated pace.
A dolly-style movement was created using a gimbal stabiliser, allowing the camera to track the model with a more polished and campaign-like feel. The bright harbour setting gave the video scale and openness, while the church-like location added contrast, grounding the piece in a more architectural and refined space. Together, the locations helped position the tracksuit as both street-ready and considered.
03Impact
Result & response
The campaign film reached over 47K views and helped launch the V2 tracksuit with a stronger visual identity. By combining movement, music, location, and detail-driven product shots, the piece elevated Blancs' release beyond a standard clothing drop and gave the tracksuit a more distinctive presence in social feeds.
The founder responded strongly to the final video, praising the piece immediately after delivery.
